RESOLUTION APPROVING CONTRACT WITH THE TEXAS
DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION FOR THE
RECONSTRUCTION AND ILLUMINATION OF KEMP BLVD.
FROM NINTH STREET TO KELL (US 82)
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has carried the
reconstruction of Kemp Blvd. from Ninth Street to Kell in the
Transportation Improvement Program for several years; and,
WHEREAS, the Texas Department of Transportation is willing
to enter into a contract for design and construction of this
project with the City by using Intermodel Surface Transportation
Efficiency Act of 1991 (ISTEA) funds.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The agreement between the City of Wichita Falls and the
Texas Department of Transportation for the development and
reconstruction of Kemp Blvd. between Ninth Street and Kell (US
82) is hereby approved.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 3rd day of January, 1995.
