RESOLUTION TO AWARD BID TO STARKS
CONSTRUCTION COMPANY FOR PROJECT TO RELOCATE
UTILITIES FOR KEMP BLVD. RESURFACING PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City and State are cooperating for the
resurfacing of Kemp Blvd. between Ninth Street and Kell Blvd.;
WHEREAS, it is necessary for the City to relocate a water
line to facilitate the resurfacing project;
WHEREAS, the City has advertised for bids for this purpose,
such bids to be submitted on a unit price basis; and,
WHEREAS, the Council has reviewed the bids received.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The unit price bid of Starks Construction Company with an
estimated cost of $170,428 is hereby accepted, and the City
Manager is authorized to execute a contract for the relocation of
the water line as stated.
