A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, DECLARING THE PROPERTY AT 1225
MIDWESTERN PARKWAY AS EXCESS AND DIRECTING THE LAND
TO BE SOLD BY SEALED BIDS; FINDING AND DETERMINING
THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS ORDINANCE WAS
DISCUSSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to reduce the inventory
of real property maintained by the City when such property is
no longer required for public purposes; and,
WHEREAS, the Property Management Division has determined
that the property known as 1225 Midwestern Parkway meets the
criteria to be considered as excess; and,
WHEREAS, it is in the public interest to return this
property to private ownership.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The following parcel of real property,
located in Wichita Falls, Wichita County, Texas, is declared
as excess, and the Property Administrator is directed to
advertise for sealed bids for the sale of said property:
A 0.29 acre tract, more or less, being the
remainder of Lots 10 -14, Block 24, Hillcrest
Addition, a /k /a 1225 Midwestern Parkway.
SECTION 2. It is officially found and determined that
the meeting at which this resolution was passed was open to
the public as required by law.
