RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT AS COMPLETE THE PROJECT
TO INSTALL A 42" WATER TREATMENT LINE AT THE
JASPER PLANT
WHEREAS, the City awarded a contract to Jalyn Construction
Company in the amount of $9,400 to construct a 42" process water
line at the Jasper Street Water Treatment Plant;
WHEREAS, the project has been completed on schedule and has
been found to comply with all plans and specifications;
WHEREAS, the City previously has made a payment of $9,212 to
the contractor, leaving an amount due of $188; and,
WHEREAS, the staff has recommended Council accept this
project as complete and authorize the final payment to the
contractor.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The project to install a 42" process water line at the
Jasper Street Water Treatment Plant is hereby accepted as
complete, and the City Manager is authorized to make a final
payment of $188 to the contractor.
