A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, ACCEPTING BID FOR EXCESS
PROPERTY AT 1225 MIDWESTERN PARKWAY AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE THE DEED TO
CONVEY TITLE; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE
MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS DISCUSSED WAS
OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, it has been determined that the property at
1225 Midwestern Parkway meets the criteria to be considered
as excess; and,
WHEREAS, sealed bids were opened on March 23, 1995, for
the sale of said property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The following parcel of real property
located in Wichita Falls, Wichita County, Texas, has been
identified as excess and has been advertised for sale to the
public by sealed bid, with a minimum bid of $5,000.00:
A 0.29 acre tract, more or less, being
the remainder of Lots 10 -14, Block 24,
Hillcrest Addition, a /k /a 1225
Midwestern Parkway.
SECTION 2. The high bidder for the property is Mr.
Gene Patterson, 1700 Mary Lane, Wichita Falls, Texas, with a
bid of $9,500.00.
SECTION 3. The above - listed bid is hereby accepted,
and the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a special
warranty deed on behalf of the City of Wichita Falls to
convey title.
SECTION 4. It is officially found and determined that
the meeting at which this resolution was passed was open to
the public as required by law.
