RESOLUTION NO.
RESOLUTION REJECTING BIDS RECEIVED
FOR MEDIUM DUTY TRANSIT BUSES AND
AUTHORIZING RESUBMISSION OF REQUEST
FOR BIDS
WHEREAS, the City requested bids for four medium duty buses,
WHEREAS, approved equals were requested by multiple vendors,
WHEREAS, not all vendors were notified of approved equal
decisions, and
WHEREAS, proper notification of such decisions is required
in order to maintain a fair bid process to all vendors.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The City Council hereby rejects all previous bids received
from the bid process for four medium duty buses and authorizes
City staff to request resubmission of bids.
