RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT RECARBONATION BASIN
PROJECT AND AUTHORIZE CITY MANAGER TO MAKE
FINAL PAYMENT
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has a contract with
McGrath Brothers Concrete Company for installation of a
recarbonation basin at the Cypress Water Treatment Plant, said
contract in the amount of $56,880;
WHEREAS, one Change Order during the progress of the work
reduced the contract price to a final contract amount of $55,280,
and we previously have paid the contractor an amount of
$53,047.40;
WHEREAS, the actual amount of work accomplished was $55,160,
leaving an amount due to the contractor of $2,112.60; and,
WHEREAS, the City staff has found the contract work to be
according to plans and specifications and has recommended that
the Council accept the project as complete and authorize a final
payment to the contractor.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The project to install a recarbonation basin at the Cypress
Water Treatment Plant is hereby accepted as complete, and the
City Manager is authorized to make a final payment of $2,112.60
to the contractor.
