RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT THE LANDFILL FINAL COVER
- AREAS A, B & C PROJECT AND AUTHORIZE FINAL
PAYMENT TO BOBBIE D. HAYNES CONSTRUCTION CO.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls entered a unit price
contract with Bobbie D. Haynes Construction Co. with the
estimated total cost of $131,142.50; and,
WHEREAS, the actual work was completed at a total cost of
$126,848.67 of which $117,691.67 has been previously paid to the
contractor, leaving an amount due of $9,157.00; and,
WHEREAS, the City staff has inspected the work and found it
to be acceptable.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The Landfill Final Cover - Areas A, B & C Project is hereby
accepted and the City Manager is authorized to make final payment
to the contractor.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 20th day of June, 1995.
