RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT PROJECT TO INSTALL 12"
SANITARY SEWER ON KELL AT ARTHUR AND
AUTHORIZE FINAL PAYMENT TO CONTRACTOR
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has a contract with
Bowles Construction Company for installation of a new 12"
sanitary sewer line on Kell Blvd. at Arthur Street;
WHEREAS, the original contract price of $35,210 was
decreased by one change order to a final contract price of
$34,787.50;
WHEREAS, the actual amount of work accomplished was
$34,787.50, and the contractor previously has been paid $29,439,
leaving an amount due to the contractor of $5,348.50; and,
WHEREAS, the project has been installed according to plans
and specifications, and the Staff has recommended the Council
accept the project and authorize a final payment to the
contractor.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The project to install a 12" sanitary sewer line on Kell
Blvd. at Arthur Street is hereby accepted as complete, and the
City Manager is authorized to make a final payment of $5,348.50
to the Contractor.
