IF34-64) RESOLUTION TO APPROVE CHANGE ORDER NO. 2 AND AUTHORIZE FINAL PAYMENT FOR 1994-95 BUDGET UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has a contract with for the 1994-95 Budget UtilityConstructionCo.g y Improvements Project, said contract being in the original amount of $345, 920 . 75; WHEREAS, during the process of the work, Change Order No. 1 in the amount of $1, 200 was approved, increasing the contract price to $347, 120 . 75; WHEREAS, the Staff has recommended Council approve Change Order No. 2 in the amount of $9, 767, bringing the total contract price to $356, 887 . 75; WHEREAS, the Contractor previously has been paid $342, 681 . 01 leaving an amount due of $16, 760 .49; and, WHEREAS, the Staff has inspected the work and finds that it meets all plans and specifications, and has recommended Council accept the project as complete and authorize final payment . NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT: Change Order No. 2 to the 1994-95 Budget Utility Improvements Project is approved in the amount of $9, 767 . The project is hereby accepted as complete, and the City Manager is authorized to make a final payment of $16, 760 .49 to the Contractor. PASSED AND APPROVED this the 3rd day of December, 1996 .
