A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE
DOCUMENTS, INCLUDING AMENDMENTS, COMPLETING THE SALE OF
CITY OWNED PROPERTY TO THE CONTINENTAL HOUSING
CORPORATION OF BAKERSFIELD, CALIFORNIA OR ITS ASSIGNEE;
FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT TH MEETING AT WHICH THIS
RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED
BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City Council has a desire to improve housing opportunities for low and moderate
income elderly in the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to facilitate a residential project in the former Holt Hotel
property and has ownership of adjacent property which is vital to the feasibility of such a project;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is authorized to execute such documents completing the sale of
City owned property described as follows:
All of Lots 3,4, and 5, Block 163 Original Townsite; the South eleven feet of East 1/2
Lot 2; the North thirty-nine feet of the East 1/2 of Lot 1, Block 163, Original Townsite.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at which this resolution
was passed was open to the public as required by law.
