RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
SUBMIT A GRANT APPLICATION TO THE FEDERAL AVIATION
ADMINISTRATION FOR THE PURPOSE OF PRODUCING AN AIRPORT
LAYOUT PLAN AND INSTALLING SECURITY FENCING AT THE MUNICIPAL
AIRPORT
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, is requesting
financial assistance from the FAA; and
WHEREAS, the grant funds will be used to produce an Airport
Layout Plan and construct security fencing;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The City Manager is hereby authorized to submit a grant
application to the Federal Aviation Administration.
