RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT THE 1996 CDBG MILL AND
OVERLAY PROJECT AND AUTHORIZE FINAL PAYMENT
TO ZACK BURKETT COMPANY
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls entered a unit price
contract with Zack Burkett Company with the estimated total cost
of $102, 541 . 00 and,
WHEREAS, the actual work was completed at a total cost of
92 , 540 . 66 of which $82, 836 . 56 has been previously paid to the
contractor, leaving an amount of $9, 704 . 10 ; and,
WHEREAS, the City staff has inspected the work and found it
to be acceptable .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The 1996 CDBG Mill and Overlay Project is hereby accepted,
and the City Manager is authorized to make final payment to the
contractor.
