RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT THE 1996 STREET
RESURFACING PROJECT AND AUTHORIZE FINAL
PAYMENT TO ZACK BURKETT COMPANY
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls entered a unit price
contract with Zack Burkett Company with the estimated total cost
of $490, 527 . 24 and,
WHEREAS, the actual work was completed at a total cost of
495, 991 . 87 of which $446, 392 . 68 has been previously paid to the
contractor, leaving an amount of $49, 599 . 19; and,
WHEREAS, the City staff has inspected the work and found it
to be acceptable.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The 1996 Street Resurfacing Project is hereby accepted, and
the City Manager is authorized to make final payment to the
contractor.
