A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE CITY ATTORNEY
TO FILE A MOTION OF INTERVENTION BEFORE THE RAILROAD
COMMISSION OF TEXAS IN GAS UTILITIES DOCKET NO. 8647;
FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH
THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS
REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, there is currently pending before the Railroad
Commission of Texas Gas Utilities Docket No. 8647, inquiring into
the rates and services of Lone Star Gas Company; and,
WHEREAS, it is desirable for the City of Wichita Falls, both
as a customer of Lone Star Gas Company and on behalf of its
citizen customers, to intervene in said docket number.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS:
SECTION 1.That the City Attorney be and is hereby
authorized to file a motion of intervention in Gas Utilities
Docket No. 8647 pending before the Railroad Commission of Texas
inquiring into the rates and services of Lone Star Gas Company.
SECTION 2. It is hereby found and determined that the
meeting at which this resolution was passed was open to the
public as required by law.
