RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
TO EXECUTE CONTRACTS WITH COMMUNITY
ACTION CORPORATION OF WICHITA FALLS AND
NORTH TEXAS AREA
WHEREAS, the 1996-97 budget included funds for support of
the Neighborhood Action Group Program through the Community
Action Corporation, and
WHEREAS, the 1996-97 Community Development Block Grant
Program included funds for the Meals-on-Wheels Program.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute contracts
with the Community Action Corporation in the amount of $10, 090
for the Neighborhood Action Groups and $27, 500 for the
Meals-on-Wheels Program.
