A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE AN ADDENDUM TO
THE ',STANDARD PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT', WITH JOHN
DORSEY & ASSOCIATES AND TO USE SEIZED FUNDS TO COVER THE
COST OF THE CONSULTING SERVICES
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls is eligible for a
direct award of $203,512 under the Local Law Enforcement
Block Grants Program established within the Bureau of
Justice Assistance under the Fiscal Year 1996 Omnibus
Appropriations Act (Public Law 104-134) ; and,
WHEREAS, the Wichita Falls Police Department is in the
process of planning for a new department wide computer
network system; and,
WHEREAS, money is available for consulting work on this
project in seized funds;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS:
That the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute
an addendum to the "Standard Professional Services
Agreement" with John Dorsey & Associates and that the
consulting fee (up to $18,800.00) be paid for from seized
funds that are available.
