RESOLUTION TO AWARD BID AND CONTRACT TO ATKINS
BROTHERS EQUIPMENT COMPANY, INC. FOR THE ARIZONA
INTERCEPTOR MAIN PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has advertised for bids for
the construction of the Arizona Interceptor Main Project; and,
WHEREAS, it is found that the lowest, responsible bidder is
Atkins Brothers Equipment Company, Inc . who made a unit price bid with
an estimated total of $1, 826, 889 . 76 .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Said unit price bid of Atkins Brothers Equipment Company, Inc . ,
with an estimated total of $1, 826, 889 . 76 is hereby accepted, and the
City Manager is authorized to execute a contract for the City with
said Contractor for the construction of such project .
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 17th day of September, 1996 .
