A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, APPOINTING SUBSTITUTE JUDGE OF THE
MUNICIPAL COURT FOR A TERM OF TWO YEARS; FINDING AND
DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION
WAS DISCUSSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY
LAW.
WHEREAS, attorney Mark Baker has agreed to serve as a
substitute judge of the Municipal Court for a two-year term
expiring September 17, 1998; and,
WHEREAS, in this capacity, Mark Baker agrees to act in the
place and stead of the Municipal Judge during any period in which
he is temporarily unable to act for any reason.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1.The City Council hereby consents to such
appointment of Mark Baker as a substitute judge of the Municipal
Court for a term of two years, beginning September 17, 1996.
