A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, APPROVING THE TRANSFER OF THE LEASE
AGREEMENT FOR FUNLAND AMUSEMENT PARK TO AMERICAN
MUSIC AND VENDING, INC.; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT
THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS
OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, on April 22, 1996, the City entered into a five-year lease agreement with
Jimmy Hoggard for the operation of Funland Amusement Park; and,
WHEREAS, Jimmy Hoggard now desires to transfer said lease to American Music and
Vending, Inc.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. The City hereby consents to the transfer or assignment of the lease
agreement for the operation of Funland Amusement Park from Jimmy Hoggard to American
Music and Vending, Inc.
SECTION 2. It is hereby found and determined that the meeting at which this
resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
