RESOLUTION APPROVING THE AWARD OF BID AND A
CONTRACT FOR LANDFILL FINAL COVER - CELL X (48+75
TO 50+50)
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has advertised for bids for
the construction of Landfill Final Cover - Cell X (48+75 to 50+50)
Project; and,
WHEREAS, it is found that the lowest, responsible bidder is Zack
Burkett Co. , who bid unit prices equalling the sum of $48, 755 . 00 .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Said unit price bid of Zack Burkett Co. , in the amount of
48, 755 . 00 is hereby accepted, and the City Manager is authorized to
execute a contract for the City with said Contractor for this project .
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 20th day of August, 1996 .
