RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT THE NATURE WORKS TRAIL
PROJECT AND AUTHORIZE FINAL PAYMENT TO DUKE
CONSTRUCTION COMPANY
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls entered a unit price
contract with Duke Construction Company with the estimated total
cost of $124, 022 . 92 and,
WHEREAS, the actual work was completed at a total cost of
136, 191 . 66 of which $133 , 467 . 83 has been previously paid to the
contractor, leaving an amount due of $2, 723 . 83 .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The Nature Works Trail Project is hereby accepted, and the
City Manager is authorized to make final payment to the contractor.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 6th day of August, 1996 .
