RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT BELT FILTER EQUIPMENT
PROJECT AS COMPLETE AND AUTHORIZE THE CITY
MANAGER TO MAKE FINAL PAYMENT TO CONTRACTOR
WHEREAS, the City has a contract with Andritz-Ruthner, Inc.
for the manufacture of a belt filter press;
WHEREAS, the press has been manufactured according to
specifications and the performance tests for the equipment have
been conducted successfully;
WHEREAS, the original contract was for $284, 800 and we have
paid the Contractor $270, 560, leaving an amount due of $14, 240 ;
and,
WHEREAS, the press has been installed in the constructed
facility, and the staff has recommended Council accept this
project as complete and authorize the final payment .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The project to manufacture a belt filter press is hereby
accepted as complete, and the City Manager is authorized to make
a final payment of $14 , 240 to the Contractor.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 6th day of August, 1996 .
