RESOLUTION TO AWARD BID AND CONTRACT TO
BOWLES CONSTRUCTION COMPANY FOR 1996 CDBG
UTILITY PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has advertised for bids
for the construction of 1996 CDBG Utility Project; and,
WHEREAS, it is found that the lowest, responsible bidder is
Bowles Construction Company of Wichita Falls, who made a unit
price bid with an estimated total of $163 , 142 . 72 .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Said unit price bid of Bowles Construction Company, with an
estimated total of $163 , 142 . 72 is hereby accepted, and the City
Manager is authorized to execute a contract for the City with
said Contractor for this project .
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 16th day of July, 1996 .
