AN RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF WATER BY DEAN DALE
WATER SUPPLY CORPORATION TO THE LONE OAK RIDGE
SUBDIVISION.
WHEREAS, a request has been received by the City requesting that Dean Dale Water Supply
Corporation be allowed to supply water to a residential subdivision within its service area as defined
under a contract between Dean Dale Water Supply Corporation and the City dated March 2, 1977, as
amended; and
WHEREAS, such a request is required under terms of that contract where Dean Dale Water Supply
Corporation proposes sale of water to a residential subdivision; and
WHEREAS, City staff has reviewed such request and finds no objection to the sale of water to this
subdivision.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is authorized to provide Dean Dale Water Supply Corporation the
authorization needed to sell water for residential purposes to the Lone Oak Ridge Subdivision as
described herein as Attachment A, provided that the Dean Dale Water Supply Corporation present the
water plans and specifications to the City of Wichita Falls, have such plan and specifications approved by
the Director of Public Works, and where such plan is in conformance with regulations, policies and
procedures of the City of Wichita Falls for the installation of water systems.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at which this resolution
was passed was open to the public as required by law.
