RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT THE SPUDDER PARK
RECREATIONAL COURT (CDBG) PROJECT AND
AUTHORIZE FINAL PAYMENT TO M&F LITTEKEN
COMPANY
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls entered a lump sum
contract with M&F Litteken Company with the estimated total cost
of $119, 120 . 00 ; and,
WHEREAS, the actual work was completed at a total cost of
119, 120 . 00 of which $90, 867 . 15 has been previously paid to the
contractor, leaving an amount due of $19, 252 . 85, after
appropriate adjustments of $9, 000 . 00 in liquidated damages; and,
WHEREAS, the City staff has inspected the work and found it
to be acceptable.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The Spudder Park Recreational Court (CDBG) Project is hereby
accepted, and the City Manager is authorized to make final
payment to the contractor.
