RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT LAKE ARROWHEAD BY-PASS
SWITCH PROJECT AS COMPLETE AND AUTHORIZE
FINAL PAYMENT TO THE CONTRACTOR
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has a contract with Acme
Electric Company for the installation of a by-pass switch at the
Lake Arrowhead Raw Water Pump Station;
WHEREAS, the original contract price and the completed work
is $28, 896;
WHEREAS, we have made no previous payments to the
contractor, therefore the full amount of the contract is due in a
final payment;
WHEREAS, the Staff has inspected the work and finds that it
meets specifications, and the Staff has recommended that the
Council accept the project as complete .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The project to install a by-pass switch at the Lake
Arrowhead Raw Water Pump Station is hereby accepted as complete,
and the City Manager is authorized to make a final payment of
28, 896 to the Contractor.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 21st day of May 1996 .
