RESOLUTION TO AWARD BID TO BIG D LINING SYSTEMS FOR
SANITARY LANDFILL CELL XII CONSTRUCTION.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls opened bids on May 9,
1996 for the construction of Sanitary Landfill Cell XII; and,
WHEREAS, the apparent low bidder was Big D Lining System of
Midland, Texas; and,
WHEREAS, the Consulting Engineer, Mr. Kerry Maroney of Biggs
Mathews, Inc . recommends that the bid be awarded to the
apparent low bidder.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The Sanitary Landfill Cell XII Construction Project be
awarded to the apparent low bidder, Big D Lining System of
Midland Texas in the amount of $746, 589 . 33 .
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 21st day of May, 1996 .
