RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT THE MEMORIAL AUDITORIUM
BUILDING RESTORATION PROJECT AND AUTHORIZE
FINAL PAYMENT TO AMERICAN RESTORATION, INC.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls entered into a lump sum
contract with American Restoration, Inc . on September 5, 1995
with an estimated total cost of $147, 393 ; and,
WHEREAS, the actual work was completed at a total cost of
147, 393 of which $132, 654 has been paid to the Contractor,
leaving an amount due of $14 , 739; and,
WHEREAS, the City' s Architectural Consultant, Bundy, Young,
Sims and Potter, Inc . has inspected the work and found it to be
acceptable .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The Memorial Auditorium Building Restoration Project is
hereby accepted, and the City Manager is authorized to make final
payment to the Contractor in the amount of $14, 739 .
