RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT THE 1995 ALLEY REPAIR PROJECT
AND AUTHORIZE FINAL PAYMENT TO DUKE CONSTRUCTION
COMPANY
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls entered a unit price
contract with Duke Construction Company with the original estimated
contract price of $388, 718 . 15 and,
WHEREAS, the actual work was completed at a total cost of
366, 510 . 72 of which $329, 859 . 65 has been previously paid to the
contractor, leaving an amount due of $36, 651 . 07; and,
WHEREAS, the City staff has inspected the work and found it to be
acceptable .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The 1995 Alley Repair Project is hereby accepted, and the City
Manager is authorized to make final payment to the contractor.
