RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT CYPRESS HIGH SERVICE
PUMP MODIFICATION PROJECT AS COMPLETE AND
AUTHORIZE FINAL PAYMENT TO THE CONTRACTOR.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has a contract with
Bowles Construction Company for modifications to the high service
pumps at the 1987 Cypress Water Treatment Plant;
WHEREAS, the original amount of the contract of $42 , 460 was
increased by one (1) approved change order to $44 , 287;
WHEREAS, we have made previous payments in the amount of
43 , 401 . 26 , leaving an amount due of $885 . 74 ; and,
WHEREAS, the staff has determined the project meets plans
and specifications and has recommended that Council accept the
project as complete and authorize a final payment to the
contractor.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The project to modify the 1987 Cypress Water Treatment Plant
high service pumps is hereby accepted as complete, and the City
Manager is authorized to make a final payment to the contractor
in the amount of $885 . 74 .
