RESOLUTION NO. 3-3—Mr
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS CALLING FOR A REGULAR CITY ELECTION ON
MAY 4, 1996, NAMING POLLING PLACES AND ELECTION
OFFICIALS .
WHEREAS, Mayor Michael Lam has issued an order this date,
ordering an election to be held on May 4, 1996, for electing
the Mayor, Councilor for District 3, Councilor for District 4,
and Councilor for District 5 .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS :
Section 1 . An election shall be held in the City on May
4 , 1996, for the purpose of electing such City officers . Such
election shall be held at the polling places named in Exhibit
A, attached hereto. The persons named in Exhibit A are hereby
appointed election officials to serve at such election.
Section 2 . It is hereby officially found and determined
that the meeting at which this resolution was passed was open
to the public as required by law.
