A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE ADDENDUM #1 TO THE OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE
CONTRACT FOR THE WICHITA FALLS/WICHITA COUNTY MULTI-
PURPOSE EVENTS CENTER WITH THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS,
WICHITA COUNTY, AND THE WICHITA FALLS/WICHITA COUNTY
MULTI-PURPOSE EVENTS CENTER; FINDING AND DETERMINING
THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED
WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS:
SECTION 1 . That the Mayor be and is hereby authorized to
execute on behalf of the City of Wichita Falls, Addendum #1 to
the Operation and Maintenance Contract for the Multi-Purpose
Events Center, by and between the City of Wichita Falls, Wichita
County, and the Wichita Falls/Wichita County Multi-Purpose Events
Center.
SECTION 2. It is hereby found and determined that the
meeting at which this resolution was passed was open to the
public as required by law.

ADDENDUM #1 TO THE OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE
CONTRACT FOR THE MULTI-PURPOSE EVENTS CENTER
WITH THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, WICHITA COUNTY, AND THE
WICHITA FALLS/WICHITA COUNTY MULTI-PURPOSE EVENTS CENTER
WITNESSETH :
WHEREAS, on the 12th day of September 1994, the City of Wichita Falls,
Wichita County, and the MPEC Corporation entered into an Operation and
Maintenance Contract for the Multi-Purpose Events Center; and,
WHEREAS, it is necessary to identify the MPEC Corporation by its proper
corporate name, which this Addendum will accomplish.
That a certain Operation and Maintenance contract dated September 12,
1994, by and between the City of Wichita Falls, Wichita County, and the MPEC
Corporation is hereby amended by this Addendum so that the term "MPEC
Corporation" shall mean the Wichita Falls/Wichita County Multi Purpose Events
Center, a non-profit corporation of the State of Texas, and that wherever the term
MPEC Corporation shall be utilized in said contract, the same shall mean the
Wichita Falls/Wichita County Multi Purpose Events Center, a non-profit corporation
of the State of Texas.
