RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CHANGE ORDER #2 TO CONTRACT WITH
INMAN CONSTRUCTION FOR THE NATURE WORKS SHELTER PROJECT.
WHEREAS, the contractor of the Nature Works project in
Lucy Park, Inman Construction, has excavated the wall
foundation revealing a dirt base that will not support the
designed wall; and,
WHEREAS, a change order increasing the contract amount
of $443,500. by $6,157 .25 is proposed by Inman Construction
and recommended by the architect, Harper/Perkins, and the
Nature Works administrative board.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Change order #2 to the contract with Inman Construction
is hereby authorized in the amount of $6,157 .25.
