RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO SIGN A
LETTER OF INTENT TO THE CORPS OF ENGINEERS,
PLUM CREEK CONSTRUCTION PLANS
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls entered into an agreement
with the United States of American for the Plum Creek Flood
Protection Study;
WHEREAS, the Tulsa District Corps of Engineers needs a
Letter of Intent for inclusion in the request for construction
approval; and,
WHEREAS, City staff recommends the Letter of Intent be
signed by the Mayor and be included in the request .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The City Council authorizes the Mayor to sign the attached
Letter of Intent to the U. S . Army Corps of Engineers .
