RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT THE ADDITION TO FIRE
STATION NO. 2 PROJECT, CHANGE ORDER NO. 1
AND AUTHORIZE FINAL PAYMENT TO NORMAN R.
BRATCHER CONSTRUCTION COMPANY
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls entered a lump sum
contract with Norman R. Bratcher Construction Company with the
estimated total cost of $94, 809 . 00; and,
WHEREAS, the actual work was completed at a total cost of
95, 436 . 89 of which $80, 544 . 60 has been previously paid to the
contractor, leaving an amount due of $14, 892 . 29; and,
WHEREAS, the City staff has inspected the work and found it
to be acceptable .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The Addition to Fire Station No. 2 Project is hereby
accepted, and the City Manager is authorized to make final
payment to the contractor.
