RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT THE LANDFILL LINER CELL
NO. XI PROJECT AND AUTHORIZE FINAL PAYMENT TO
CLUFF CONSTRUCTION COMPANY
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls entered a unit price
contract with Cluff Construction with the estimated total cost of
826, 621 . 95; and,
WHEREAS, the actual work was completed at a total cost of
817, 253 . 75 of which $560, 953 . 15 has been previously paid to the
contractor, less liquidated damages equaling $15, 600, leaving an
amount due of $240, 700 . 60 ; and,
WHEREAS, the City staff has inspected the work and found it
to be acceptable.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The Landfill Liner Cell No. XI Project is hereby accepted.
and the City Manager is authorized to make final payment to the
contractor.
