RESOLUTION NO. I - `10w
RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACTS FOR PURCHASE OF TREES
FOR PARKS AND MEDIANS.
WHEREAS, a matching federal Small Business
Administration tree grant was received to plant 200 trees in
ten parks and medians; and
WHEREAS, sealed bids were opened December 22, 1995.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Contracts for the purchase of trees are hereby awarded
to Earth Works in Ft. Worth for 160 trees in the amount of
13,910. and Miller Nursery in Stephenville for 40 trees in
the amount of $3,600.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 2nd day of January 1996.
