RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT THE RIVER BEND NATURE
WORKS PARKING LOT PROJECT AND AUTHORIZE FINAL
PAYMENT TO DUKE CONSTRUCTION COMPANY
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls entered a unit price
contract with Duke Construction Company with the estimated total
cost of $25,521.00 and,
WHEREAS, the actual work was completed at a total cost of
$27,348.69 of which $24,613.82 has been previously paid to the
contractor, leaving an amount of $2,734.87; and,
WHEREAS, the City staff has inspected the work and found it
to be acceptable.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The River Bend Nature Work Parking Lot Project is hereby
accepted, and the City Manager is authorized to make final
payment to the contractor.
