RESOLUTION TO APPROVE ENGINEERING CONTRACT WITH
EMD, INC. FOR 1996/97 ELECTRICAL IMPROVEMENTS
PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has budgeted for several
electrical initiatives for the water supply and treatment system and
for the sanitary sewer collection system;
WHEREAS, the nature of the improvements is such that the City
desires to engage an electrical engineer to develop the plans and
specifications for the project;
WHEREAS, the Staff has recommended we engage the local firm of
EMD, Inc. for this project; and,
WHEREAS, the Council has examined a proposed engineering contract
for the purposes stated.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The engineering contract with the EMD, Inc. is hereby approved
with a maximum engineering fee of $33,400 and an estimated inspection
and startup services fee of $3,640. The City Manager is authorized to
execute the contract for the City of Wichita Falls.
