RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT BETWEEN WICHITA
COUNTY AND THE CITIES OF WICHITA FALLS,
BURKBURNETT AND IOWA PARK, AND LAIDLAW
MEDICAL TRANSPORTATION, INC. FOR
AMBULANCE SERVICE
WHEREAS, the current contract between Wichita County and the
Cities of Wichita Falls, Burkburnett and Iowa Park and Laidlaw
Medical Transportation, Inc. for the provision of ambulance
service to such entities expires January 31, 1997; and
WHEREAS, the parties desire to enter into anot}ier contract
for a two -year period beginning February 1, 1997 and ending
January 31, 1999.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY CCUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
That the City Manager is authorized to enter into a contract
between Wichita County and the Cities of Wichita Falls,
Burkburnett and Iowa Park, Texas and Laidlaw Medical
Transportation, Inc. for the provision of ambulance service for
the two -year period beginning February 1, 1997 and ending
January 31, 1999.
