RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT THE PRISON SEWAGE
GRINDER PROJECT AND AUTHORIZE FINAL PAYMENT
TO BOWLES CONSTRUCTION COMPANY
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls entered a unit price
contract with Bowles Construction Company with the estimated
total cost of $67,600 and,
WHEREAS, the actual work was completed at a total cost of
$67,600 of which $66,248 has been previously paid to the
contractor, leaving an amount of $1,352; and,
WHEREAS, the City staff has inspected the work and found it
to be acceptable.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The Prison Sewage Grinder Project is hereby accepted, and
the City Manager is authorized to make final payment to the
contractor.
