RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT THE SCOTT STREET BRIDGE
WATERLINE REPLACEMENT PROJECT AND AUTHORIZE
FINAL PAYMENT TO JALYN CONSTRUCTION COMPANY
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls entered a unit price
contract with Jalyn Construction Company with the estimated total
cost of $27,493 and,
WHEREAS, the actual work was completed at a total cost of
$27,493 of which $26,943.14 has been previously paid to the
contractor, leaving an amount of $549.86; and,
WHEREAS, the City staff has inspected the work and found it
to be acceptable.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The Scott Street Bridge Waterline Replacement Project is
hereby accepted, and the City Manager is authorized to make final
payment to the contractor.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 21st day of January, 1997.
