A RESOLUTION AWARDING BIDS FOR THE REMOVAL OF ASBESTOS
CONTAINING MATERIALS FROM THE ACTIVITY CENTER. FINDING AND
DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS DISCUSSED
WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has received a request to award
bids for the removal of asbestos containing materials from the Activity
Center; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Section 1
The contractor listed herein, Sierra Environmental Services has offered a
low bid of $14,825.00 for asbestos removal with in the Wichita Falls
Activity Center, and the City Council deems it advisable and in the public
interest to approve this resolution for the award of bid to the below
listed contractor.

Section 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting
at which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by
law.
