RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT THE MARTIN LUTHER KING WALL
REPAIR (CDBG) PROJECT AND AUTHORIZE FINAL PAYMENT
TO SPECIALTY CONTRACTING SERVICES, INC
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls entered a lump sum contract with Specialty
Constructing Services, Inc. with the estimated total cost of $5,150.00;
WHEREAS, the actual work was completed at a total cost of $5,150.00 of which $0.00
has been previously paid to the contractor, leaving an amount due of $5,150.00; and,
WHEREAS, the City staff has inspected the work and found it to be acceptable.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The Martin Luther King Wall Repair (CDBG) Project is hereby accepted, and the City
Manager is authorized to make final payment to the contractor.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 18th day of February, 1997.
