RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT THE LANDFILL LINER CELL 12
PROJECT AND AUTHORIZE FINAL PAYMENT TO BIG "D"
LINING
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls entered a unit price contract with Big "D" Lining
with the estimated total cost of $746,589;
WHEREAS, the actual work was completed at a total cost of $756,883.90 of which
$603,033.71 has been previously paid to the contractor;
WHEREAS, ten (10) days of liquidated damages were accumulated which totals $2,400
leaving an amount due of $151,450.19; and,
WHEREAS, the City staff has inspected the work and found it to be acceptable.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The Landfill Liner Cell 12 Project is hereby accepted, and the City Manager is
authorized to make final payment to the contractor.
