RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT PROPOSAL OF EMSI, INC.
FOR FLOW MONITORING SYSTEM
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls intends to conduct a
flow monitoring program to assess the effect of the sewer
rehabilitation and expansion projects conducted under the EPA
Administrative Order;
WHEREAS, the City sought proposals for a flow monitoring
system consisting of flow loggers and associated equipments to
conduct the monitoring program;
WHEREAS, the City received five proposals, and all were
evaluated using the criteria stated in the published Request for
Proposal;
WHEREAS, after evaluation, two proposing companies were
invited to submit best and final offers; and
WHEREAS, after evaluation of the best and final offers,
Staff has recommended Council accept the proposal of EMSI, Inc.
in the amount of $91,798.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The proposal of EMSI, Inc. to provide a flow monitoring
system consisting of thirty flow loggers with associated
equipment and a five-year warranty/maintenance agreement is
hereby accepted in the amount of $91,798, and the City Manager is
authorized to conclude the purchase of the equipments.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 18th day of February, 1997.
