RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
ENTER INTO A CREDIT CARD SERVICES AGREEMENT
WITH FIRST USA FOR THE GOLF COURSE
WHEREAS, the City wishes to accept credit card payments for
services and merchandise at the Weeks Park Golf Course, and
WHEREAS, in order to accept credit card transactions, the
City must enter into a Merchant Credit Card Services Agreement
with a company that provides electronic card services, and
WHEREAS, First USA provided these services for Evergreen
Alliance Golf, Ltd., and it is in the City's best interest to
transfer this agreement to the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The City Manager is hereby authorized to enter into Merchant
Credit Card Services Agreement with First USA for the operation
of the golf course.
