A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS NAMING POLLING PLACES AND ELECTION
OFFICIALS FOR THE GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION TO BE
HELD ON MAY 3,1997.
WHEREAS, AN ELECTION WAS CALLED BY Resolution 22-97 on
February 4, 1997 to be held on May 3, 1997 for the purpose of electing a
Councilor at Large, Councilor District 1, and Councilor District 2, and it is
now time to name the polling places and election officials.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS:
Section 1. Such election shall be held at the polling places named in
Exhibit A, attached hereto. The persons named in such Exhibit A are
hereby appointed election officials to serve at such election.
Section 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the
meeting at which this resolution was passed was open to the public as
required by law
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 18" day of March, 1997.
