RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT THE 1995/96 CDBG UTILITY
PROJECT AND AUTHORIZE FINAL PAYMENT TO
BOWLES CONSTRUCTION COMPANY
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls entered a unit price contract with Bowles
Construction Company with the estimated total cost of $163,142.72;
WHEREAS, the actual work was completed at a total cost of $163,142.72 of
which $159,879.83 has been previously paid to the contractor, leaving an amount due
of $3,262.89; and,
WHEREAS, the City staff has inspected the work and found it to be acceptable.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The 1995/96 CDBG Utility Project is hereby accepted, and the City Manager is
authorized to make final payment to the contractor.
